Not just the flowers burst with colour in Opunake!
Come November, The Great Opunake Yarn Bomb will brighten the centre of the coastal Taranaki town.
This will be the third year that the Opunake Lakeside Lions have hosted the event, timed to coincide with the Taranaki Fringe Garden Festival, The Taranaki Garden Festival, the Taranaki National Art Review and the Opunake Business Association Market Day (Sat 2 Nov 9.30-1).
The yarn bomb is a result of colourful pieces that have been sent from many places in NZ and overseas. Be sure to cruise Surf Highway 45 and check out the clever creations from 1-13 November.
