Brace yourself for Live’s annual Holiday Guide – packed full of information on what to do and see this summer.
Events kick off in mid-December with the opening of the TSB Festival of Lights (16 Dec – 21 Jan), including a New Year’s Eve Party at Pukekura Park.
The Bowl of Brooklands season begins on Sunday 17th December with Christmas at the Bowl (see details on EVENTS CALENDAR page 114), followed up with Rock the Bowl on the 29th December.
On the massive bill is Australian alternative psychedelic rock band Ocean Alley, Aotearoa icons Shapeshifter, and Californian ska-punk legendary act Sublime with Rome. Band of brothersCoterie will be performing, along with Ladyhawke, Melbourne raconteurs The Grogans, and Raglan indie-groove band Masaya.

Start 2024 with a Family Scavenger Hunt! Collect your clue book from Puke Ariki isite (instructions included). But to really kick off the new year the Dire Straits and Nazareth concert at the Bowl on the 3rd of January is a must-do.
February will be dominated with the roar of V8s when AmeriCARna hits town again from 21 – 24 Feb, while March will have two big events … Matchbox Twenty with the Goo Goo Dolls on the 2nd and of course WOMAD from 15 – 17 March.
