Creative Fibre is a New Zealand organisation for all fibre crafters. It brings together spinners, weavers, knitters, dyers, flax workers, felters, crocheters, free form fibre artists and all other people involved in the use of fibre and has groups throughout New Zealand who share a passion for all things fibre.
During the 15th – 17th July, Creative Fibre will be hosting FibreEd 2022 at Sacred Heart Girls’ College in New Plymouth (see hours on opposite page).
FibreEd 2022 is the biennial education event for the 3000+ nation wide members of Creative Fibre. It is fifteen years since this event was last held in New Plymouth. FibreEd is a rare opportunity to chat with and support these skilled artisans and knowledgeable traders while they are here in Taranaki sharing their expertise and extensive range of fibre craft resources.
Taranaki Creative Fibre are the organisers of FibreEd 2022. There are five groups around the region who meet regularly to share skills, creativity and learning. New members are always welcome. If you would like to join or need more information, check out the Taranaki Creative Fibre Facebook page or our national website www.creativefibre.org.nz.
